The fish in net theme should lease fishermen and fish eaters alike. The curves of the net, fish and oval water background are a pleasing contrast to the net handle which reinforces the horizon. The technique is linocut, wherein the art is carved into linoleum, inked and printed. Originally done as an illustration, the rice paper prints are lost, but quality computer prints are available.
