FAST DRAW FUN
Pictures and puns. See drawing gags, cartoons and humor quickly develop. The artist stands at a big easel, surprising folks by drawing one object, then changing it into another. Volunteers may complete pictures or offer suggestions. Drawing tips are also given. This unique show even has a song about art and colorful props.
CARTOONING
Drawing skills & creativity. Learn to create characters and put them into action situations. Cartooning is a fun way of drawing that is simplified and stylized. Cartoon strips can relate to writing; as an aid to story construction or visuals to illustrate writing.
CREATIVE PROCESS
Steps to create relate to those in education and life. A unique fun way of presenting art basics, with visuals, songs & drawing. Creative thinking and planning are emphasized, as is analyzing and revising your work. Great for schools.
CARICATURES
Skills of observation & interpretation are demonstrated through a mix of portraiture and cartooning.
THE OK CORRAL
Important moral lessons are conveyed through storytelling, comedy and song. Six pillars of character have been adapted with examples from cowboy life. One of Dougal's songs, "I Walked Away", addresses non-violent conflict resolution. Great for schools.
